It was just a suitable option for a short visit in Gourock with great value-to-price ratio. The staff offered to help carry my luggage up the twisty staircase, which was thoughtful. Be careful navigating the stairs with your bags.

Exceptional service and fantastic value

I stayed in a Single Room with Sea View for 2 nights and loved the beautiful view and the well-appointed room with solid oak furniture. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant stay, even offering help when I needed it. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices, and the location along the waterfront was ideal for a nice walk. One thing to note is that the heating in the room can get quite warm at night, so adjusting it beforehand is a good idea.

I had a great time during my stay, especially enjoying the spectacular view from my room and the friendly, relaxed atmosphere in the bar overlooking the Clyde, which made my weekend strolls even more enjoyable. The location is perfect for walking to nearby landmarks, such as the Men of the Clyde Statue just a kilometer away and the beautiful Granny Kempock Stone close by at under 800 meters.
